We are seeking an energetic, experienced Sales Manager to lead our ready-mix sales team in Colorado. If you are a strategic thinker with hands-on sales expertise, and a passion for developing people and growing market share, we want to hear from you!
You will be responsible for leading and motivating our sales team to achieve revenue and profitability goals while driving growth across the Colorado market. You will develop strategic sales plans, build strong relationships with key accounts and contractors, and identify new business opportunities. Collaborating closely with internal teams and monitoring market trends, you will foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
What you will be doing
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed revenue and profitability goals
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with company objectives and market opportunities in the Colorado area
- Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, developers, and key accounts
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the company’s market presence across the region
- Collaborate closely with operations, dispatch, and quality control teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly
- Provide regular reporting and forecasting to senior leadership
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the sales team

Demonstrated success in sales leadership, preferably within ready-mix, aggregates, or construction materialsProven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teamsExceptional relationship-building and networking skills with a customer-first focusStrong business acumen with advanced negotiation and presentation skillsProactive, self-driven professional with a track record of achieving results and solving challengesA Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field is considered an assetKnowledge of the Colorado construction market is highly desirableLocation and other key details :
This is a full-time permanent position based out of our Denver Corporate OfficeThe hours of work will be Monday to FridayOccasional travel to multiple BURNCO sites; must be comfortable working in an industrial setting with PPEWhy us?
