NetImpact Strategies has an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our talented Professional Services team. This opportunity will lead an Asset Management program for a government federal-civilian customer. The successful candidate will work directly with federal-civilian government customers to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope, budget and timeframe, and coordinate with other internal departments and contractors to ensure all aspects of the project are being delivered with the highest quality. This is an on-site role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Asset Management Analysts in execution of customer approved IT initiatives and general asset management tasks.
  • Determine and monitor personnel requirements, help establish work priorities, assign duties, and instruct personnel on special requirements and high priority workloads.
  • Assess, monitor, mitigate, and resolve program and project level risks and issues.
  • Develop and maintain program artifacts throughout the lifecycle of the initiative.
  • Develop, disseminate, and present supporting program / project documentation (i.e., status reports, presentations, planning documents, etc.).
  • Ensure all contract deliverables are provided to the customer and approved per the requirements of the contract.
  • Meet with and routinely communicate with Government Leadership to discuss initiatives.
  • Ensure constant and proactive communication with customers, team members, and subcontractors to actively mitigate any issues or concerns.
  • Responsible for assigning ongoing tasks as they are received from the customer, monitoring the work being performed to assure that tasks are completed on schedule, and validating all deliverables by performing several quality assurance checks before delivering those products to the customer for final approval.
  • Analyze new and existing project-related problems and help identify innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the program.

Qualifications

Required

  • BS / MS degree
  • 6+ years of relevant, applicable professional experience in managing IT projects.
  • PMI PMP, PMI AC, and ITIL certifications a plus.
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, conflict / resolution management, active listening, time management, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient using MS Office.
  • Working understanding of Asset Management Lifecycle
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
