This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a VP, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) in the United States.
We are seeking an experienced VP of Revenue Cycle Management to lead and optimize end-to-end revenue cycle operations in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role provides strategic oversight for patient access, billing, collections, and claims management, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement innovative technology solutions, streamline workflows, and improve cash flow. The position offers the opportunity to influence large-scale operational decisions, mentor high-performing teams, and drive measurable improvements in revenue cycle performance across multiple markets.
Accountabilities :
- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize all components of the revenue cycle, including patient access, billing, collections, revenue integrity, and claims / denials management.
- Provide operational oversight of RCM across multiple markets and nationally, covering Revenue Optimization, AR Management, Training, QA, Refunds, and Overpayments.
- Lead, mentor, and build high-performing teams across RCM functions.
- Establish, maintain, and enforce policies, procedures, and processes related to revenue cycle operations.
- Monitor, analyze, and report key performance indicators and financial metrics; recommend and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, IT, compliance, and clinical leadership to drive integrated RCM initiatives.
- Own full P&L responsibility for RCM operations and contribute to budget planning and fiscal management.
- Implement technology solutions, process improvements, and automation to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cash flow.
- Oversee vendor and partner relationships supporting RCM operations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific billing regulations and stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.5+ years of leadership experience in revenue cycle management within healthcare organizations.Multi-site and multi-state management experience.Deep knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models, payer contracts, billing regulations, and compliance requirements.Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills to optimize revenue cycle performance.Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Experience implementing and optimizing RCM technology platforms (EHR / EMR, billing systems).Thorough understanding of commercial payers, Medicaid, and Managed Medicaid across multiple markets.HIPAA compliance knowledge and experience.AthenaNet experience preferred.Benefits
