Job Description

International Health and Medical Services is looking for an individual who is an experienced Dental Hygienist to promote and maintain oral health by providing preventative dental care, cleaning teeth, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. They support dentists in delivering comprehensive dental services and ensure clean, safe environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Routine cleanings; removing tartar, plaque and stains, applying sealants and fluoride and taking and developing X-Rays.
• Potentially placing and carving filling materials, temporary fillings and periodontal dressings.
• Maintaining accurate patient records including the proper tracking of treatment plans.
• Instructing patients on proper hygiene techniques to improve upon their oral health.
• Documenting all patient care provided as well as any follow up care that may be required.
• Utilizing various computer software to log patient information and access emails and calendars.
• Active participation in day-to-day office activities, including a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve procedural processes, obtain approvals, and remain abreast of new developments and policy requirements.
• Active participation in Mass Casualty exercises and events.
• Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
