SBH Health System, a 400 bed acute care hospital and health system in the South / Central Bronx and the primary academic affiliate of the CUNY School of Medicine seeks academic full time BE / BC internal medicine primary care physicians . SBH was recently ranked #1 by HealthFirst Medicaid for Quality in primary care in NYC and is a Level 3 NCQA certified PCMH. We offer full medical and surgical specialties in addition to strong ancillary support including navigators, nutritionists, and a collaborative care model with mental health.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate will have excellent clinical and communication skills, strong interest in teaching residents and medical students, and a commitment to high quality care and developing population health strategies. Spanish language ability preferred.

Candidates must be BE / BC in internal medicine and possess a New York State license. Current DEA is required. Spanish proficiency is desirable.
