CHS is looking for a Hazmat Driver to join our team in Willmar! This individual will be dedicated to hauling crop protection products, and other agricultural products both locally and regionally. This is a M-F position, with overtime available throughout the year during the busy seasons. Join our amazing team today!
Responsibilities include : ensuring accurate and on time deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. To include but not limited to pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and hours of service. Assisting in the warehouse when not delivering product. Working extended hours in-season to meet business demands. Maintaining and promoting a strong safety culture and following all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identifying and communicating workplace hazards and correcting or seeking assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Assisting warehouse staff and performing other duties as needed or assigned.
Minimum qualifications required : Class A CDL, Hazmat endorsement highly preferred, must meet minimum age requirement, ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals.
Additional qualifications : Tanker and Air Brake endorsements, must meet DOT and Company requirements, ability to work additional hours and occasional Saturdays to meet business demands, bulk liquid experience preferred. Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. If required, selected candidates must pass pre-employment screenings to include all or a combination of drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse.
Physical requirements include : ability to lift / carry up to 80 lbs, walk, stand, sit, bend, and kneel.

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage / salary requirements under local law.
