Space Management & Planning Project Manager Sr
The Space Management & Planning Project Manager Sr provides leadership to support the development and implementation of strategic space planning projects across all of Huntington's regions. Projects can be medium to large scope, involving multiple business segments and may have high visibility and risk. Duties & responsibilities include :
- Leading strategic space planning design projects for multiple business segments in support of medium to large scale projects, including building / site consolidations, new construction, and existing space reconfigurations.
- Managing all project tasks through the analysis phase of their lifecycle. Aligning space plans and design with corporate real estate strategies and workplace standards.
- Interface with executive and senior segment leaders to gather space programming requirements and facilitate the presentation, review, and approval of strategic space plan recommendations.
- Responsible for obtaining construction cost estimates and vendor quotes for proposed space plans. Presenting cost estimates to segment leaders for approval and providing packaged project scope information to support the business case approval process.
- Partnering and coordinating with internal real estate managers, construction managers, move managers, information technology partners, and external vendors on the implementation of strategic space planning projects.
- Managing individual colleague space requests across multiple regions in Huntington's footprint.
- Creating detailed colleague move plans in support of facility relocation projects.
- Maintaining an expert knowledge base of recent industry trends in space planning / interior design and bringing forth new strategic workspace ideas to increase efficiency and utilization of our corporate spaces.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
This position is located at 5555 Cleveland Ave Columbus, Ohio.
Basic qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or field of study of architecture, interior design, facility design, and / or space planning; or high school diploma and 15+ years related experience in interior design, facility design, and / or space planning.15 years in architecture, interior design, facility design, space planning, and / or equivalent experience.Preferred qualifications :
10 years in a corporate real estate environment.Exempt status : Yes.
