Description Summary :
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing budgetary oversight, cash flow forecasting, and performance insights across a portfolio of new developments and ongoing construction projects. This critical role will establish and maintain cost controls, while developing project-specific financial strategies, processes, and reporting to support the full lifecycle of construction investments. The role requires close collaboration with Construction, Finance, and Development teams, serving as the key liaison to ensure timely, accurate, and actionable financial information across budgets, actuals, forecasts, POs, contracts, and change orders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor and track construction and build-out costs against approved budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with project timelines.
- Review loan agreements, leases, and related financial documents to confirm compliance and alignment with contractual terms.
- Prepare monthly project-level financial packages, including actuals, forecasts, variance analysis, and cash flow reporting.
- Evaluate change orders, contract amendments, and scope adjustments to assess financial, scheduling, and compliance impacts.
- Deliver clear executive-level reporting to highlight project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Partner with operations and construction leadership to translate field activity into accurate, meaningful financial insights.
- Support ad hoc analyses, process improvements, and system implementations to strengthen project financial management.
Education / Training / Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Construction Management, or related field.3–5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, with strong emphasis on capital projects and cash flow forecasting.Experience with construction project budgeting and cost tracking; real estate construction experience strongly preferred.Preferred Qualifications
