Overview

We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Traction Power Engineer to join our Los Angeles, CA office.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Traction Power Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in the design, construction, and maintenance of traction power systems, specifically with third rail electrification. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transit infrastructure projects and a proven ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Experience in overseeing construction activities, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with industry standards is essential.

Your role

• Design and review traction power systems, with a focus on third rail applications.
• Support construction management and field engineering during project execution.
• Coordinate with utility companies, transit agencies, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates.

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between 150,000 - $170,000 depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
