❄️ Refrigeration & HVAC Technician
Devault, PA
$31 – $38 / hr
Full-Time | 1st Shift
Weekends & Holidays as Needed
What You’ll Do :
Install, maintain & repair HVAC and refrigeration systems
Diagnose mechanical & electrical issues (HVAC, ammonia, nitrogen systems)
Clean, adjust, and service HVAC units
Check temperatures, pressures, valves, pumps, gauges, and compressors
Read complex blueprints, piping layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Operate tools, forklifts, scissor / cherry lifts, and ventilation systems
Support automation & PLC systems (Programmable Logic Controllers)
Document maintenance work; complete and close out work orders
Lead or assist with preventative and predictive maintenance programs
Participate in energy-saving and process improvement projects
Assist with general building maintenance, repairs, and electrical troubleshooting
Follow all GMP, OSHA, food safety (HACCP, BRC), and facility safety protocols
✅ What You Need :
5+ years of HVAC / Refrigeration experience (food industry preferred)
High school diploma or GED
EPA Universal Certification (Type 4)
Valid driver’s license
Experience with industrial ammonia / nitrogen refrigeration systems (preferred)
Ammonia Operating License (preferred)
Welding / soldering (TIG, MIG, stick), and sheet metal fabrication
CMMS software experience
Ability to read complex schematics and work independently
Willing to work flexible hours, holidays, weekends, or emergencies
Physical & Work Environment :
Cold and refrigerated areas : -10°ree;F to 40°ree;F
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on your feet
Exposure to loud noises, strong odors, dust, and weather extremes
Will need to access the production floor, warehouse, and external areas
