Job descriptionOverview Eden Animal Hospital is looking for a skilled, compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our dedicated team in beautiful San Clemente, CA . What we expect from you : Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures Perform animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both animals and staff. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. Conduct routine laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic imaging, including X-rays. Prepare animals for surgery, including catheterization and monitoring anesthesia. Perform dental cleanings Maintain accurate patient records Train veterinary assistants and technicians to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care Manage daily workflow and assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient hospital operation Educate and communicate with clients about pet care and treatment plans What We're Looking For : Proven experience in veterinary settings is preferred; however, recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Active RVT license in California Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and dental terminology is essential. Excellent animal handling and technical skills Familiarity with animal catheterization procedures is a plus. Pay : $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
