Job Title : Director Of JHS Clinical Operations

Jackson Memorial Hospital is the flagship hospital for Jackson Health System and it has been a beacon of medical excellence and community care for more than a century. The Director of JHS Clinical Operations supports clinical and operational initiatives to develop an integrated health system. The Director oversees physician operations and initiatives across Jackson's hospitals, skilled nursing homes, long-term care facilities, multispecialty clinics, urgent care centers, corrections health, and the construction of new satellite facilities. The Director leads efforts to operationalize all lines of work within the CPE / CCO's plan. The incumbent assists and acts in a confidential capacity to manage, formulate, determine, and effectuate management processes and policies. This position is directly involved in decision-making processes around confidential management decisions and plays a significant role in the administration or preparation of departmental and organizational budgets, requiring the exercise of independent judgment.

Responsibilities include supporting clinical and operational initiatives to develop an integrated health system, leading efforts to operationalize all lines of work within the CPE / CCO's plan, anticipating and following through with stakeholders to execute and sustain initiatives, implementing change management principles for initiatives, supporting and advancing J35 clinical work streams, building relationships with key stakeholders, participating in CMO Council meetings, performing market analysis, making recommendations to corporate and hospital leadership, working collaboratively with all levels of senior leadership, generating summary reports, supporting marketing and business development initiatives, reviewing procedures and workflows for optimization, building strong cross-functional relationships, ensuring alignment and integration of hospital and corporate resources, undertaking and leading special projects, presenting data to various levels of organizational leadership, informing executive leadership on the status of operations, and recommending changes in long-range policies and strategies.

Experience generally requires 7 to 10 years of related experience. Leadership experience is required. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required. A master's degree is strongly preferred. Valid license or certification is required as needed, based on the job or specialty.
