Salary : $80,000 to $90,000 USD / year
The Trade Spend Analyst will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day and month-end close functions for retail sales, including but not limited to retail revenue, trade accrual, AR cash apps, reconciliations and reporting and analysis. This position will report to the Trade Spend Manager and will work cross-functionally with on a regular basis. This role is a full-time (40 hr / wk), exempt, remote position; EST or CST hours are preferred. The compensation range for this role is $80,000 to $90,000 USD / year.
Responsibilities
- Assist in recording payments and deductions for retail invoices.
- Reconcile and review trade spend deductions for retail customer accounts, identifying trends and presenting to the appropriate teams to drive efficiencies.
- Work with the retail sales team and customers to ensure deductions are accurate and received in a timely manner.
- Assist in claims processing as needed for retail customers.
- Review retail revenue to ensure accurate reporting according to GAAP.
- Assist in reporting that tracks all trade spending including summarizing actual versus planned performance on a monthly / YTD basis.
- Monthly reviews of trade spend rates including operational, non-working, and working trade to ensure accurate accrual calculations in TPM.
- Provide audit support around retail sales and trade spend.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with cross-functional teams as well as customers and brokers to resolve financial and revenue-related issues.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or related field.Minimum 3-4+ years of experience in retail trade spend deductions in CPG; strong overall retail trade spend deduction knowledge and background.Knowledge of CPG claims processes for retail customers.Attention to detail and accuracy.Experience with customers and portals, including UNFI, KeHE, Walmart, Target.Experience with NetSuite preferred, experience with any ERP required.Experience with TPM system, preferably Confido, required.Excellent English communication skills with the ability to convey information in understandable terms to all levels of the organization.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Physical Requirements
