Remote Inpatient Coder - TN Licensed

A company is looking for a Remote Coder III - Inpatient.

Key Responsibilities

Performs remote coding for hospitals using scanned medical records and hospital abstracting systems

Codes primarily inpatient records and submits queries for documentation clarification

Maintains productivity levels and a 95% coding accuracy rate while attending scheduled coding education

Required Qualifications

High School Education or GED

ICD-10-CM & PCS certification

2 years of acute care hospital inpatient coding experience

Required license : CIC, CCS, RHIA, or RHIT

Experience with electronic medical record systems and encoding systems
