Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who is compassionate, professional, and eager to learn. Experience in the field is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate . Being bilingual in English and Spanish is also a plus, as we serve a diverse community.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Ensure all areas of the dental office are clean and organized
- Perform general office duties, such as scheduling appointments and answering phones (as needed)
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Epic and Eaglesoft is preferred but not mandatory.Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and familiarity with medical imaging techniques.Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on patient care and comfort.Ability to work well in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to all safety protocols.Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plusJoin our team where your skills will contribute to creating beautiful smiles while fostering a positive experience for our patients!
