Platform Integration Engineer

The Platform Integration Engineer will architect and maintain critical integration frameworks that connect legacy core banking platforms with modern digital systems and external financial service providers. The role ensures seamless, secure, and highly available data exchange across high-volume transaction environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain middleware solutions integrating mainframe, treasury, loan origination, and digital banking platforms.
• Build and support event-driven and API-driven integration patterns for high-throughput transactional processing.
• Configure message brokers (IBM MQ, Kafka), ESB platforms, and API gateways to ensure reliable communication between upstream and downstream systems.
• Implement transactional integrity, replay mechanisms, and exception handling for critical financial data.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and application engineering teams to align with data governance and compliance requirements (SOX, PCI DSS).
• Develop integration health monitoring, logging, and automated failover solutions to meet strict RTO / RPO objectives.
• Document integration patterns for operational handover and audit.
