Pediatric Respiratory Therapist w Sign On Bonus - Urgently Hiring!

Sabal Palms Health & Rehabilitation is seeking Pediatric Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) to join our Pediatrics clinical team!! This individual will work in the Pediatrics Skilled Care Unit and train Pediatrics nurses as Respiratory Nurses as well for full support.

Shift : 7a-7p / 7p-7a

Wage : $35 to $40+ / hour, based on experience

Bonus : $3000 Sign-On or Relocation

The primary purpose of this position is to administer medically prescribed programs and treatments to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or impairment. Utilizes training and clinical skills to assess patients and participates in the development of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation plan of care, where applicable. Under the daily direction of the Rehabilitation Services Coordinator, coordinates and maintains a schedule which involves approximately 75% direct patient care activities.

SUMMARY OF ROLE :

The Respiratory Therapist (RT) plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home. The primary purpose of this position is to assess, treat, and manage patients with breathing difficulties or cardiopulmonary disorders by performing diagnostic tests, administering respiratory therapies like oxygen therapy and aerosol medications, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients on managing their lung conditions; they work closely with physicians to develop treatment plans and often operate specialized medical equipment.
