About the Team

We are seeking a product manager to join the Mainstreet Card Product Acquisitions group owning both our upper funnel marketing experiences as well as the data strategy for Mainstreet Product. Mainstreet is at the heart of Capital One driving billions of dollars in revenue each year as the largest Segment within Card. By building a strategy for Mainstreet data you will help define the data products and decision engines necessary for real-time personalized experiences for customers shopping for cards.

In this role you will :

Lead a team of Product Managers while while building a great place to work for yourself and your team

Own the strategy for real-time Data Products for Mainstreet Card Product defining the vision and roadmap to success

Collaborate with machine-learning teams to determine the correct approach to utilize machine learning for personalized experiences.

Bring that strategy to life by building a roadmap including MVP definitions then building and delivering technology updates

Improve the CX for tens of millions of customers each year driving hundreds of thousands of incremental bookings

Collaborate from the heart of Capital One Card partnering with Product and Business Analysts from across Card (Upmarket Platforms Partnerships and SBC)

Drive the agenda for Tech teams working directly with Mainstreet Card as well as many platform Product and Tech teams

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert especially on our personalization agenda

Basic Qualifications :

At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management

Currently has or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date :

A Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics Economics Operations Research Analytics Mathematics Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering Mechanical Engineering Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

A Masters Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics Economics Operations Research Analytics Mathematics Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering Mechanical Engineering Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

New York NY : $210500 - $240300 for Sr. Mgr Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
