Your Role as a Child Behavior Specialist :
Provide personalized, one-on-one support to children ages 18 months to 21 years, helping them develop independent living skills in a primarily center-based setting.Collect and analyze data on learners’ behaviors to support their skill development and reduce distress.Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with families.Create a safe and encouraging environment for learning.Implement individualized behavior programs tailored to each child's needs.Follow dietary and medication guidelines as instructed by parents and professionals.Ensure timely and accurate documentation and billing.Training and Development :
Our team offers a comprehensive, hands-on training experience designed to equip new specialists with the skills necessary to deliver outstanding services from the start. You will receive personalized, one-on-one training from a qualified mentor.
About You :
You have a High School diploma or GED.You possess a valid state of Michigan driver's license.You are passionate about working with children and making a difference.You have experience in healthcare, mental health, behavioral health, childcare, or a residential setting.You communicate professionally, demonstrate attention to detail, and value teamwork.You are reliable and understand that punctuality is essential to providing quality service.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
