Job Summary : The (EHS) Coordinator provides administrative and basic field support and assists in the implementation of safety programs within our organization. Responsible for a variety of administrative tasks while also supporting the EHS team in ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safe working environment for employees. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to both administrative excellence and environmental, health, and safety initiatives. Will perform basic EHS audits as directed.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide administrative support to the EHS team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and managing correspondence.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate safety training sessions and maintain training records for employees, ensuring that all required training is completed on time.
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety inspections, incidents, and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses, compiling data, and preparing reports to support root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Assist in analytical analysis review of hazardous waste and industrial hygiene sampling.
- Assist in workers' compensation coordination.
- Assist in drug testing coordination.
- Review technical documents for environmental, safety, and health coordination.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding safety concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Coordinate environmental initiatives and assist in implementing programs to minimize our organization's environmental impact.
- Assist with preparing and submitting regulatory reports, permits, and documentation required for environmental compliance.
- Manage inventory and order safety supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Support cross-functional collaboration by liaising with other departments to integrate safety and environmental considerations into business operations.
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, copying, scanning, and organizing documents and records.
- Conduct basic EHS audits at jobsites or shops as directed, on an occasional to weekly basis.
Key Requirements, Education, and Experience :
