OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, particularly those with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, dementia, and other memory-related conditions.DutiesAdminister medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and protocols.Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions to medications and report findings to nursing staff.Assist with vital signs checks and other basic health assessments as needed.Support residents with daily living activities while promoting their independence.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans for each resident.Provide compassionate care in various settings including hospice, senior care, and home care environments.Ensure a safe and clean environment for all residents by adhering to health and safety standards.RequirementsPrevious experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospital settings preferred. We are willing to train.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.Commitment to providing high-quality patient care while respecting the dignity of each resident.Must be able to pass background checks as required by facility policies.
