Corewell Health Lakeland Hospitals - Cardiothoracic is seeking a board-certified or board- eligible cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon who is dedicated to delivering the highest level of care to our patients. Surgery is performed at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital, located in St. Joseph, Michigan.

Team includes one exceptional and experienced surgeon as well as advanced practitioner.  Access to 24 / 7 hospitalist and intensivist programs at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital, which is Level III Trauma.  Epic EHR.

With a rich history dating back to the 1800s, Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan, is a beacon of medical excellence in the region – continually working to create an integrated system of care that is accessible, affordable, compassionate, and responsible. Our state-of-the-art facility, with more than 250 beds, includes the recent addition of our Medical Pavilion – a multi-million-dollar expansion creating more than 260,000 square feet of new space, provides an of inpatient and ambulatory services.

The newly renovated emergency departments include 34 patient beds, 12 observation beds and additional treatment areas for the more than 45,000 patients we see each year. This transformation is part of a long-term vision to invest in the health of the community for generations to come.

Corewell Health in southwest Michigan is a teaching hospital, offering residencies in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine. We also host 3rd and 4th year medical students from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Central Michigan University College of Medicine.
