  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Present and negotiate pricing for quotes, including long-term contract options.
  • Secure price increases as necessary and ensure competitive positioning.

Customer Engagement & Retention

  • Proactively engage customers 90 days prior to scheduled events and maintain regular touchpoints throughout the year.
  • Lead renewal efforts in collaboration with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs).
  • Deliver Tektronix's value proposition effectively to decision-makers, including C-level executives.
  • Build strong relationships to increase customer "stickiness" and reduce churn.
  • Operational & Administrative

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in the designated CRM system (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Utilize tools such as CalWeb, Oracle, and additional internal tools for quoting and reporting.
  • Handle post-sales support functions, including contract extensions, re-engagement, and issue resolution.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities, including identifying process inefficiencies and contributing to initiatives that enhance team performance and customer experience.
  • Qualifications

  • Proven success in a high-volume, fast-paced sales environment with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Strong negotiation and pricing skills, including experience with long-term contract sales.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (Dynamics preferred).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders, including executives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make recommendations that drive business outcomes.
  • Preferred Knowledge

  • Familiarity with calibration service, onsite service models, and related pricing structures.
  • Operational knowledge of Tektronix systems and tools.
