Job Overview

We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, client-focused insurance professional who excels at building relationships, solving problems, and managing accounts with precision and care. The Account Manager will work closely with producers, carriers, and clients to manage renewals, process changes, and handle day-to-day service requests.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the liaison for an assigned book of commercial clients.
  • Handle renewals, endorsements, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), billing, and policy changes.
  • Review coverage and Proactively recommend updates to protect clients' interests.
  • Communicate directly with carriers to resolve service and claims issues.
  • Support producers with quoting and marketing as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the Agency Management System (AMS).
  • Ensure high retention by building strong, trusted relationships with clients.

Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) account management experience.
  • Strong understanding of small business commercial insurance needs.
  • Property & Casualty license (required).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Pay Range : $60,000 - $80,000. The specific compensation will depend on factors including scope, complexity, location, market conditions, and candidate qualifications. Our full-time consultants have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K contributions, plus PTO and other benefits as mandated by applicable state or localities.
