Compensation : $68,000 / Annually
Work Schedule : Monday - Friday (On-site), 9 AM – 5 PM or 10 AM – 6 PM

Position Summary :
HousingPlus is hiring an social worker to join our growing company. The Social Worker is responsible for providing trauma-informed, evidence-based clinical and supportive services to women and families residing in a permanent supportive housing program. Participants include individuals and families impacted by serious mental illness (SMI), substance use disorders (SUD), histories of justice involvement / reentry, physical disabilities, and other complex needs. The Social Worker will work collaboratively with case managers and the broader support team to ensure participants with higher needs receive comprehensive, coordinated care that promotes housing stability, wellness, and self sufficiency.
Competencies / Skills :
Trauma-Informed Practice : Ability to recognize and respond to the impact of trauma on individuals and families.
Clinical Assessment & Intervention : Strong skills in psychosocial assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions.
Collaboration & Teamwork : Works effectively with case managers, property management, and external providers to support participant goals.
Cultural Humility & Responsiveness : Demonstrates sensitivity to the lived experiences of diverse populations, including those impacted by systemic inequities.
Crisis Management : Skilled in de-escalation, safety planning, and responding to mental health or substance use crises.
Ethics & Professional Judgment : Adheres to NASW Code of Ethics and maintains professional boundaries and confidentiality.
Communication : Clear verbal and written communication skills with participants, staff, and external stakeholders.
