Dishwasher

We are searching for a Dishwasher / Prep Cook to work with our small team under chef Ari Miller.  This position is for enthusiastic individuals looking for growth opportunities beyond washing dishes.  While that will be an important part of the position, this is also an opportunity to learn the skills of food preparation and line cooking in the kitchen.  Any down time will be spent assisting with kitchen projects, and therefore having the chance to learn new skills.

Post Haste is a New American cocktail bar and restaurant in the Fishtown / East Kensington area that focuses on sourcing locally and seasonally.  Our ideal candidate has this same philosophy, and is a motivated individual who can be a self-starter.

Job duties :

• Cleaning all dishware from the dining room and kitchen
• Handling high volume with a positive attitude
• Communicating with staff members effectively and seamlessly
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment for all Back of House members
• Supporting fellow back of house team members
• Basic food preparation
