American Plastics is a privately owned injected molded plastics company that designs and manufactures innovative home organization products items in the United States, utilizing green processes and superior engineering. While you may not be familiar with our name, you most likely know our products. American Plastics is a growing company, having tripled the company size in the last three years and expanded the production footprint to Missouri, Ohio, Arizona and South Carolina.
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Human Resources and is responsible for leading and executing key Human Resources initiatives that support the Company’s strategic goals. This role manages cross-functional processes related to talent management, employee engagement, benefits, HCM platform and process improvement. The HR Project Manager serves as a liaison between key members of Leadership driving collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all HR programs.
Executive & Administrative :
- Provide support to CEO and Executive Team
- Coordinate and communicate meeting information and materials for Ownership, Audit, Governance and Compensation Committees as applicable
- Draft documents and email correspondence as needed
- Digitally organize and maintain all original corporate documents and corporate files
- Oversee Corporate Travel Program
- Oversee Business License process with Company locations
- Support and execute Corporate communication
Legal :
Coordinate and maintain all legal files and oversee contract review process in relation to IP and TrademarksProvide data for monthly legal reporting requirementsAssist in preparation (files, documents, statements, etc.) for legal reviews re : compliance and other legal issuesParticipate in all open legal related issues (maintain notes and files)Benefits :
Monthly, support the Director of Total Compensation with communication and marketing materialsServe as an additional resource in education and understanding of all available benefits for employeesAssist with drafting and updating HR documents and correspondence to promote human resources services and monthly communication campaigns to increase employee awarenessHuman Resources Compliance :
Support annual Financial Statement audits, 401k audits, Workers Comp audits, and other audits as requiredSupport annual preparation and delivery of accurate Form W-2s and other compliance filingsPrepare documentation as requested by independent auditors in accordance with regular audits and other quarterly procedures; answer questions, locate materials, explain procedures and policies as requestedCollobrate with key stakeholders within the Company for onboarding of employeesHCM System Administrator (Backup As Needed) :
Assist in maintaining confidential, electronic HR records for all employeesAids employees with access to Paylocity Self ServiceMaintain a working knowledge of our cloud based HRIS (Paylocity) and provide guidance to managers and employees including, but not limited to the following modules : self-service, learning, recruiting, onboarding, & time and attendanceBack up support to processing payroll utilizing an automated system to produce accurate and timely payrollAdministers garnishments, child support, tax levies and court ordered medical support as neededRequirements :
