Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

Overview

Our affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of the Carolinas, is looking for a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Hickory, NC. Join a compassionate group who provide a team approach to patient care. Every member of our staff is focused on making the patient experience in our office individualized and meaningful. Physician Assistants are also encouraged to apply.

Position Highlights :

• Join an established and successful practice that has served the Hickory area for over 50 years.
• 1 state of the art office location in Hickory conveniently located very close to the Catawba Valley Medical Center.
• The practice team consists of 7 OB / GYN physicians, 1 gynecologist, 5 nurse practitioners, 4 certified nurse midwives, 1 physician assistant, and a great administrative support team.
• 4.5 days per week work schedule with no nights, weekends, call, or hospital shifts.
• Practice is open to potentially different schedule structures to meet individual needs.
• Duties include seeing patients, completing charting, answering patient phone calls, patient education, sending prescriptions electronically or by phone, and administering medication among other patient care duties.
• Patient Census in Clinic : up to 20-25 per day.
• Will perform and assist with some minimally invasive procedures that can be completed in the office, such as pap smears, endometrial biopsies, and IUD placements.
