Job Description

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Specialist in Malvern, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service while monitoring access and performing security-related checks. You will help to deter incidents by maintaining a professional presence and utilizing technology to log entries and exits. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Greet and assist visitors, employees, and / or contractors at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence for all individuals entering the location.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and directing individuals to the appropriate personnel or areas within the facility.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of daily activities, visitor check-ins, and any security-related incidents in alignment with Allied Universal's standards.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols as needed.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related issues or concerns that arise at the front desk.
  • Remain alert and observant to help to deter potential security-related risks within the lobby or entrance area.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
