Digital Delivery IT Director - Retail Pricing

ABOUT THE ROLE :

• The Digital Delivery Director identifies and evaluates fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction for a cross-functional team responsible for designing, planning, building and supporting a portfolio of global websites, applications, and mobile apps. The incumbent implements company-wide practices to ensure alignment of the portfolio, initiatives, and technical roadmap to the multi-year digital strategy. They provide strategy, vision and direction to ensure successful digital experiences for customers around the globe.
• The Digital Delivery Director will lead the transformation of our central pricing platform-delivering price accuracy and price effectiveness across all retail channels for our customers. This role plays a key role in shaping the development and execution of modern, cloud-native technology solutions that enable strategic pricing capabilities, empowering the business to deliver customer-focused pricing that drives competitiveness, profitability, and long-term growth. This position will be responsible for driving the architecture, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance solutions. The Digital Delivery Director will lead a team of engineers and collaborate closely with product, UX, and business stakeholders to ensure quality, reliability, and consistency across all retail touchpoints.

WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO :

Leadership & Supervision

Oversees team(s) to develop new methods and solve company-wide matters.

Responsible for setting and executing the talent strategy through hiring, onboarding, learning & development, performance, succession planning, engagement, recognition, and inclusion, diversity, and equity practices.

Responsible for creating and fostering a work environment that encourages employees to act with integrity and respect.

Responsible for directing, empowering, and motivating employees to successfully accomplish strategic priorities and responsibilities.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in the Information Technology (IT) field. In lieu of a degree, at least 12 years of experience in IT

Certifications and / or Advanced degree focused on lean management and operational efficiency.

Knowledge & Experience

Preferred

Experience with business processes and related application systems that generate product pricing for retail customers including price schedules, discounting / coupons, tax exemptions, and approval workflows.

Experience in leading digital delivery teams utilizing Agile software delivery practices, to enable desired business capabilities as defined by Pricing Product Manager within a Product Management framework.

Experience in leading application development using MACH architecture (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless), ensuring scalable, flexible, and high-performance solutions.
