Job description

The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking a mission-driven Agency Medical Director to oversee healthcare across 32 facilities , ensuring that approximately 30,000 individuals in custody receive high-quality, evidence-based, and constitutionally appropriate care

Position Highlights

Chief of Health Services for IDOC
Supervise medical staff and clinical operations
Oversee healthcare contracts, budgets, and compliance
Ensure quality assurance and continuous improvement
Serve as liaison with legal, regulatory, and oversight bodies
