Revenue Manager

Under general direction, the Revenue Manager oversees the Utility Billing and Collections Division, ensuring the efficient management and optimization of revenue from services like water, sewer, and sanitation. This role involves supervising billing operations, ensuring timely payment collection, analyzing revenue data, and implementing strategies to maximize collection efficiency. The Revenue Manager will also manage customer accounts, resolve billing disputes, and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. This position provides key support to the Assistant Director and requires coordination with other departments, external agencies, and the public to maintain the city's financial health.
One vacancy currently exists in the Department of Finance. Immediate and future vacancies will be filled from this eligible list for a period of three (3) months from the date the eligible list is created, with the option of extending that period for up to a maximum of two years at the City's discretion. If the examination process is suspended for this recruitment, the eligible list may be limited to three (3) months.

The ideal candidate should have a background in leading or supervising others and will be responsible for participating in the development and administration of division goals, objectives and procedures. Possession of a valid California Driver's License may be required at time of appointment. Candidates considered for hire must provide proof of a valid driver's license and current copy of their driving record.
