The Easton, Redding and Region 9 School Districts are accepting applications for substitute school nurses.

Salary: $38.00/hour. No benefits.

Duties:

• Provide nursing services to students and the school community as needed
• Administer medications as required by doctor's order
• Monitor student health plans
• Collaborate with school personnel and parents
• Provide emergency treatment as needed to staff and students

Requirements:

• State of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Ability to function autonomously within guidelines
• Strong assessment skills, good communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse population
• Familiarity and comfort with computer programs
• Previous school nursing/substitute nursing experience preferred
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
