About The Position

Position Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering direct respiratory care and support services, with a focus on pulmonary function testing, DME setup, and patient education. This is a night-shift role with a strong collaborative environment involving physicians and care teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct pulmonary function testing and assist with the initiation and titration of CPAP therapy.

Support patients by providing and maintaining durable medical equipment (DME), including oxygen concentrators, nebulizers, and related devices.

Educate patients on the proper use of inhalers and other respiratory equipment.

Set up patients with home respiratory therapy equipment as needed.

Work in collaboration with physicians to ensure appropriate care plans and follow-up.

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Respond to clinical emergencies and perform interventions in alignment with ACLS / BLS protocols.

Ensure infection prevention standards and equipment cleanliness are upheld.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements :

Experience :

Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or physician office setting.

Proficiency with computers and medical documentation systems.

Education :

Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program (required).

Certifications & Licensure :

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from NBRC.

Active New Jersey Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.

BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
