We are hiring Entry to Associate level Civil Engineers to join a growing team, that performs commercial, residential, and government projects.
Pay : 65-100k
Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Science - (Civil Engineering Preferred)
- Pro-active, enthusiastic, self-starter with a good attitude who pays attention to details and is willing to work in a supportive environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential, as is the ability to work with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Sense of urgency and desire to compete in the market through the ability to multi-task under rigid deadlines
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Proficiency with MS office, with an emphasis on Excel
Responsibilities :
Works on a variety of civil and site land development projects performing various project tasks in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team of Engineers and PlannersThe engineer is responsible for determining the feasibility of a development project and assessing the land to ensure planned development can be supported through a holistic approach to design and attention to detailPrepares design plans, supportive calculations, and reports for assigned projectsPerform all calculations necessary for grading and drainage, stormwater control facilities, water quality, domestic water distribution, and other underground utilitiesDevelop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for residential and commercial type land development projectsCoordinate activities with other disciplines, internally and externallyParticipate and contribute to design and production meetingsInteract with contractors, fabricators, owners, and internal clients to develop project requirements, schedule, and cost estimates prior to project implementationDrive coordination and design necessary to obtain local, state, and federal permits as it relates to land development & utility construction projectsEnsures plans meet zoning requirements and do not conflict with other municipal regulationsResolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time
