Overview :
Desert Mountain Health is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and compassionate Clinical Director to lead our multidisciplinary treatment team. This executive-level position plays a critical role in shaping the clinical vision of our facility and ensuring the highest standards of care in our substance abuse and mental health programs.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee all clinical programs, including detox, therapy, family programming, and aftercare
Lead, supervise, and support therapists, counselors, case managers, and support staff
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the medical team
Ensure clinical compliance with state licensing, accreditation, and ethical standards
Evaluate program effectiveness and implement evidence-based improvements
Serve as a liaison between the clinical team and executive leadership
Coordinate care with external providers as needed (psychiatrists, primary care, etc.)
Requirements
Requirements :
Master's or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field (Ph.D., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent required)
Arizona clinical licensures in good standing
Minimum 5 years of experience in addiction or behavioral health treatment
2+ years of leadership / supervisory experience in a clinical setting
Strong knowledge of co-occurring disorders and trauma-informed care
Familiarity with ASAM criteria and insurance documentation standards
