Consulting - Technology Consulting - Technology Strategy & Transformation (TST) - Technology Modernization and Resiliency - Enterprise Architecture, Digital Solution Architect (Senior Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1641991), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities

Advise organizations in imagining, designing, and implementing technology solutions to address business capabilities, harnessing emerging and digital technologies (web, mobile, cloud, social computing, search, eCommerce, microservices, DevOps, Identity and Access, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and other emerging technologies). Lead project teams to establish overall enterprise architecture landscape that converts strategic outcomes to various solution architecture areas including technology, information, data, security, and integration. Develop target state solution architectures, perform architectural assessment and gap analysis, and help formulate the overall solution strategy and roadmap. Manage architects with building out reference architectures and guiding clients through the execution of reference architecture. Focus on exceptional experience, scale, security and value extraction from suggested technology sets. Translate solution architectures to implementation artifacts including code, configuration, environment, and others. Work with engineering teams to guide delivery, including proof of concepts and incubators that help translate solution to deployments. Serve as an evangelist for 1-2 areas of emerging technology. Team with client technology professionals, and / or third-party strategic alliances. Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally.

Lead and direct teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds by providing constructive on-the-job feedback / coaching to team members. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Manage risk in the delivery of quality client services. Generate and manage new business opportunities.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 8 years of experience (5 years progressive post-baccalaureate). Alternatively, a Master's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 7 years of work experience.
  • Must have 7 years of advisory and / or consulting experience.
  • Must have 4 years of experience in at least 2 of the following areas :

Large scale web and mobile app development

  • Large scale eCommerce deployment
  • Large scale data and analytics with mixed warehousing and unstructured data; cloud deployment
  • Deployment of emerging technology (AI, blockchain, IoT)
  • Large scale microservices implementation
  • Large scale DevOps and CI / CD automation
  • Must have 4 years of experience in the full SDLC from analysis to design and build of scalable enterprise architectures, ensuring technology is usable, secure and adds value to clients' businesses.
  • Must have 5 years of solution architecture experience with focus on at least one of : technology, information, data, application, security, or integration architecture.
  • Must have 3 years of hands-on programming experience.
  • Must have 4 years of client interaction experience, including client presentations, meeting facilitation, and teaming skills.
  • Must have 3 years of experience managing teams of consulting professionals.
  • Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.
