Job descriptionPlan, organize, and manage daily SPD and / or materials processing activities Monitor workflows and prioritize tasks to meet clinical and scheduling needs Lead the development and implementation of departmental goals, policies, and sterilization protocols Supervise staff across shifts, including performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines Manage inventory of instruments, equipment, and surgical materials Deliver ongoing staff training and in-services for continued education and development Partner with clinical teams and vendors to resolve issues and ensure timely material availability Stay current on best practices and innovations through professional education and committee participation Prior experience in sterile processing or materials management in a healthcare setting required Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of infection control, decontamination, and sterilization methods Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills A high school level of education is required. Associates preferred A minimum of three years ( ideally would like 5 ) of related experience as a Sterile Processing Technician is required Previous experience as a Leader / Supervisor in Sterile Processing Current Sterile Processing certification is required (CPBSD) SPD Manager certification is preferred, but not required (CHL) The ability to interact and coordinate with employees, vendors, surgeons, and nursing staff Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance 10 hour shift Here at Medasource, the heartbeat of healthcare meets boundless opportunities! Sterile Processing Supervisor
Schedule : Thu & Fri 3 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM; Sat & Sun 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM
Sign-On Bonus : $7,500 for Full-Time New Hires
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our Sterile Processing Department (SPD). This role is ideal for a hands-on leader ready to support staff, enforce best practices, and maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
