JOB SUMMARY :
The warehouse associate will be responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and managing freight for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and experience in logistics or warehouse operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Freight Selection and Preparation :
Accurately select freight based on customer orders and company standards.Pull product from storage according to the Pick List.Ensure that products are correctly labeled and securely packed to prevent damage during transit.Load products onto pallets and shrink wrap if required.Hand load pallets and / or individual cartons of product into trailers.Apply delivery notes to orders that are ready for shipment.Load Less Than Truck Load (LTL) carriers as necessary.Order Fulfillment :
Review customer orders and ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping.Expedite orders as requested by customer service.Resolve any discrepancies in order fulfillment promptly.Inventory Management :
Assist in managing inventory levels and conducting regular stock checks.Perform daily cycle counts according to procedure.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Safety and Compliance :
Conduct daily inspections of powered equipment being used.Follow all safety rules and policies and immediately report unsafe conditions to the supervisor.Participate in the 7-S Program and assist in achieving departmental goals.Report all non-standard conditions to the supervisor.Participate in all required training sessions.Maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly condition.Collaboration :
Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and resolve any issues.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any issues encounteredWork Environment :
Exposure to a noisy and busy manufacturing environment.Use of PPE, including safety glasses / goggles, gloves, and steel-toed boots, is mandatory.Working in a fast-paced setting to meet production deadlines.Additional Responsibilities :
Engage in all required training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.Perform other assigned duties as necessary to support team goals and operations.JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain, or related field is a plus.Experience driving forklifts and other powered equipmentProven experience as a shipping clerk, freight selector, or similar role.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficient in using shipping software, inventory management systems, and basic computer applications.Experience with Radley system preferred.Ability to lift and move heavy packages and materials.Knowledge of shipping regulations and procedures is preferred.
