Rayford Animal Wellness Clinic (RAWC) is a high-volume, fast-paced, three-doctor, full-service veterinary clinic located in Spring, TX. We provide affordable, quality care for pets while maintaining a supportive, upbeat workplace for our team.
We’re looking for a RAWCstar Reception Lead / Manager to guide our front desk team and keep client service running smoothly.

The front desk is the heartbeat of the clinic — the first voice our clients hear and the last smile they see. We’re seeking someone who’s passionate about client service, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and leads with both kindness and confidence.

💬 Collaboration & Reporting ➡️ Note : The Reception Lead / Manager is first and foremost a receptionist — an active, visible member of the front-desk team. This role works alongside the team daily, leading by example rather than managing from behind a desk.
📅 Schedule
Full-time : 40 hours per week
Four-day work week (10-hour shifts)
Weekly management meeting : Wednesdays via Zoom (~90 minutes)
Typical hours : 8 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM (some flexibility required)

🐕 Experience
Veterinary experience is strongly preferred, but we’re open to training the right candidate with the perfect mix of personality, professionalism, and passion for pets.

Oversee daily reception operations and ensure a welcoming, professional experience for every client.
Manage appointment scheduling, client communications, and triage calls efficiently.
Handle estimates, check-ins, and follow-ups with accuracy and empathy.
Gather and address client feedback to continually enhance service quality.

💼 Staff Leadership & Training
Supervise and support the reception team, including scheduling, time-off approvals, and coaching.
Conduct onboarding and training in clinic software, communication standards, and payment protocols.
Foster teamwork, professionalism, and positivity in every shift.
💻 Administrative & Financial Duties
Manage end-of-day reconciliations, deposits, and payment accuracy.
Review client accounts, invoices, and balances within the practice-management system.
Monitor key metrics and collaborate with management on goals and improvements.
📋 Operational Coordination
Ensure seamless communication between the reception team, technicians, and veterinarians.
Maintain phone scripts, voicemail updates, and digital forms systems.
Anticipate scheduling issues and adjust workflows as needed.
🐶 Compliance & Professional Standards
Uphold client confidentiality and record accuracy.
Maintain the organization and appearance of the reception area.
Enforce attendance and professional-conduct policies.
💬 Collaboration & Reporting
Report regularly to clinic management on staff performance, client concerns, and operational needs.
Serve as liaison between reception staff and management to resolve workflow or communication gaps.
Participate in leadership meetings to align front-desk operations with broader clinic goals.
