2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday–Friday, with rotating Saturdays as needed
(10% shift differential once full-time)
Position Overview
This role involves physical and chemical testing, visual inspections, and overall quality monitoring of plant operations and finished products.
Key Responsibilities
Perform in-process analytical testing on products manufactured using continuous cooking equipment (., % soluble solids, viscosity, color) as needed.
Conduct organoleptic and visual inspections on products in wet-side areas (Oringer, C1–C5, ILF).
Audit cook stations and packaging lines to ensure compliance with HACCP food safety protocols, weights, seals, temperatures, codes, and GMPs.
Ensure food safety and quality standards for all products produced or packaged daily.
Report and initiate corrective actions for any food safety or quality issues.
Conduct environmental swabbing of equipment when necessary.
Maintain clear communication across production and management teams.
Accurately complete all required daily documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ideally, 1-2 years of quality experience in a GMP setting is preferred. The experience does not have to be in food manufacturing.
Associate degree in food manufacturing or a Scientific Associates degree. Or a High School Diploma with some quality testing experience in GMP setting.
Good communication skills, problem-solving skills, math skills, attention to detail as
well as the ability to work independently required.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
