Account Receivable Clerk

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently looking to hire an Account Receivable Clerk for their client. This is a remote role.

Location : Remote (U.S.) Schedule : MondayFriday, 7 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM EST Pay 21.71 / HR

Position Summary : The Collections Representative is responsible for managing third-party accounts receivable by analyzing denied and unprocessed claims, contacting payors, and ensuring timely reimbursement. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare billing processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and reconcile Third-Party Accounts Receivable (AR), analyzing denied and unresponded claims
• Conduct outbound calls to insurance carriers to check claim status and initiate appeals
• Review and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to resolve payment discrepancies
• Coordinate with insurance carriers to resolve claim issues and ensure timely reimbursement
• Process insurance and patient refunds or adjustments accurately
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards at all times
• Meet or exceed daily production and quality standards
• Research and respond to deposit or payment inquiries in a timely manner
• Perform other duties as assigned to support team and departmental goals
