Position : RN-OR-Operating Room (Travel / Contract)

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
Assist in surgical procedures and ensure patient safety.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff for optimal outcomes.
Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
Stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during surgery.
Evaluate and improve personal performance based on feedback.
Document patient care activities and surgical procedures accurately.
Assist in training new staff and sharing best practices.
Engage in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
Utilize data to assess and enhance operational efficiency.
Experience / Qualifications
Current RN license in New York State with OR experience preferred.
Commitment to ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Experience in operating room settings, assisting in surgical procedures.
Knowledge of sterile techniques and safety protocols in the OR.
Proficiency in monitoring patient vitals during surgical procedures.
Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons and medical staff.
Strong documentation skills for patient care and surgical activities.
Willingness to train and mentor new staff members.
Ability to engage in team discussions about patient care strategies.
Familiarity with data utilization for operational efficiency improvements.
