Senior Security Consultant

A company is looking for a Senior Security Consultant (VM & CAM) in the North Central region.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in building and maintaining vulnerability management programs in large and complex environments

Interpret vulnerability scan results and develop creative remediation strategies

Design compensating controls when technical fixes are not feasible

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems / Security, or a related discipline preferred

Experience with vulnerability management lifecycle and tools such as Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7

Basic scripting experience using languages like BASH, PowerShell, Python, or Perl

Understanding of operating systems and networking concepts

Hands-on experience hardening systems to benchmarks like CIS or NIST
