Position Summary
Trinity is currently hiring a full-time Social Worker, within our SNUG program. The SNUG Outreach Program is an evidence-based, violence reduction initiative that identifies and interrupts the causes of gun violence. The Social Work / Case Management Initiative will allow SNUG to address traumas experienced by community members and improve access to victim services. In addition, it will allow community members to better address the constant exposure to violence that affects youth, families and communities served by the program - and SNUG staff.
Key Responsibilities :
Adhere to all documentation and database requirements and accurately track work in accordance with Victim of Crime Act (VOCA) reporting standards
Qualifications / Preferred Skills :
Willingness to travel to trainings and conferences, including an initial week-long training that may require overnight travel within New York State, and a twice a year, two-day conference in Albany

Salary $70,000 - $75,000
