Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO seeks a Production Planning level 4 Manager to join our team in support of the Denver Electronics Manufacturing Centers. As our Planning Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of 5-6 Planners ensuring the development and execution of comprehensive plans to meet program and center objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of production scheduling, excellent communication skills, proven leadership ability and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Summary of Key Duties : In this role you will

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive supplemental schedules using SAP and Microsoft Project
  • Collaborate with program stakeholders to ensure plans align with program objectives and customer requirements
  • Lead a team of motivated production schedulers and ensure goals are met while simultaneously ensuring compliance to training and other administrative responsibilities
  • Develop internal capacity plans and help to understand resource constraints within the production centers
  • Ensure timely delivery of our center production commitments
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to :

  • Develop and deliver program planning and scheduling training to teams
  • Communicate program plans, schedules, and status to program stakeholders
  • Advanced technical knowledge of program planning tools and techniques, including :

  • OpenPlan
  • MS Project
  • Ability to mentor and coach junior planners, including :

  • Experience with mentoring and coaching
  • Ability to develop and implement training plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills

    Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with program stakeholders

    Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex program data and develop effective solutions
