Job descriptionSort, scan, upload to appropriate folders, and send to the responsible attorney. Create / add original to binders if attorney keeps paper. If paperless, maintain documents with original signatures and file as appropriate. Respond to client calls for litigation and assist, transfer, or take message as appropriate. Create and maintain litigation calendar : Invite appropriate attorney and paralegal to each event. Schedule depositions and prep as appropriate. Receive and save to system all e-filed documents (check lowelitigation@gmail.com as checks / balances). Prepare and handle all outgoing mail (all must be scanned before leaving the firm). Receive and save to system all e-filed documents. Prepare form letters and pleadings. Prepare cover letters and other correspondence. File certain pleadings and documents with the appropriate e-file system. Assist in other tasks as requested.
