About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Controller, the Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management for the site, including monthly closes, budgeting, forecasting, inventory and fixed asset management, and compliance. This role works closely with plant and corporate leadership to assess risks, identify opportunities, and drive cost and productivity initiatives that strengthen the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results and forecasts.
  • Oversee AP / AR, cash management, and treasury functions.
  • Manage inventory controls, reconciliations, and cycle counts, resolving overage or aging material issues.
  • Administer fixed asset accounting, including capital project review and asset inventory.
  • Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory, banking, and audit requirements.
  • Partner with plant leadership to develop performance metrics, monitor results, and implement improvement strategies.
  • Generate annual budgets and support the strategic planning process.
  • Prepare financial and operational reports for senior leadership and the board.
  • Support ERP implementation and manage IT cost controls.
  • Build and develop a high-performing finance team through coaching, evaluation, and professional development.

    • Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Controller or senior finance leader in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory management.
  • Demonstrated success in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ability to assess risk, analyze data, and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative, hands-on approach.
  • ERP system implementation experience preferred.
