Key Responsibilities

Daily Load Scheduling : Coordinate and schedule outbound shipments including Direct-to-Store, Final Mile and Full Truckload (FTL) carriers to meet store delivery windows.

Communication & Coordination : Serve as the primary liaison between store teams, transportation providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery execution and issue resolution.

Bill of Lading (BOL) Management : Prepare, review, and verify BOLs for accuracy and compliance. Conduct quality checks to ensure physical load matches documentation.

Customer Service & Issue Resolution : Respond to store delivery issue reports promptly and professionally. Investigate and resolve discrepancies, delays, or damages in collaboration with carriers and warehouse teams.

Pallets Left-on-Dock (LOD) Oversight : Monitor and manage LOD inventory. Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) and timely resolution to prevent delivery disruptions.

Warehouse Support (as needed) : Assist warehouse operations during downtime, including pallet consolidation and staging to support outbound efficiency.

Responsible for collecting estimated pallet volumes for direct-to-store deliveries : determining requirements, coordinating transport, and recording actual shipment quantities. Plan, route, consolidate, and optimize delivery while sequencing load priority, and timely distribution.

Basic understanding of OSHA and DOT procedures and regulations.

Qualifications

Experience :

2+ years of experience in transportation coordination, logistics, or supply chain operations (retail preferred).

Strong understanding of freight scheduling, BOL documentation, and carrier communication.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with Final Mile delivery networks and FTL carrier coordination.

Familiarity with retail store operations and delivery protocols.

Knowledge of pallet handling and warehouse operations.

Work Environment :

Based in a warehouse environment with regular time spent on the operations floor.

Varying temperatures on the operations floor.

Ability to lift and handle boxes when supporting warehouse operations (as needed).
