About the Role :

Aquila is seeking a Classified Software Engineer

to join our team in supporting one of the country’s premier defense research organizations. The  Classified Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting a number of cutting-edge projects for undersea systems. The position will provide software development opportunities in a high-performing team, defining, implementing, demonstrating and validating modern flexible software architectures that implement adaptive processing, tracking, estimation, classification, communications, image processing, machine learning, artificial intelligence and human-machine interface.

Must Have

• Degree Level : Bachelor's Degree
• Currently holds a Secret Clearance (OR a higher clearance)
• 1 years - Engineering
• 1 years - Software / Algorithm Development
• 1 years - Linux and Windows development, debugging, and executing software
• 1 years - Networking architectures and protocols
• 1 years - Parallel processing, multi-threaded programming, thread safety, and thread synchronization
• 1 years - Programming
• 1 years - C / C++ Programming
• 1 years - Java Development
• 1 years - MATLAB
• 1 years - Object Oriented Software Design and Development
• 1 years - Python Programming / Scripting

Our Perks Include :

Clearance :   Candidates must have an Active Secret clearance in order to be considered for this position. MUST BE US CITIZEN

Remote Work : Hybrid - 75% on site 25% remote. This will be work dependent and determined by the hiring manager. Candidates MUST be local to Lexington to travel onsite as needed.

Interview Process : The 1st round interview will be a Zoom with the hiring manager. The 2nd round interview will be a Zoom with additional team members as needed.
